Sailors for the Sea TONIGHT! The End of the Line TOMORROW!

Join Sailors for the Sea at the New England Aquarium (map) for a presentation of the exploration trip of the ship Ocean Watch TONIGHT (September, 21), which is circumnavigating the North and South American continents. Sailors for the Sea is a non-profit organization that educates the boating community about ocean health issues. Crew members from the Ocean Watch will participate in the presentation after the ship makes its way throught the Arctic Circle and into Boston. Registration is NECESSARY at the aquarium's website. The lecture will take place at 7pm in the Harborside Learning Lab.
Tomorrow night, The End of the Line will be playing at the Aquarium's IMAX theater as well. The movie premiered this year at the Sundance Film Festival, is the world’s first major documentary about the devastating effects of overfishing. Show starts at 7pm! HOWEVER, note that it will be in EXTREME poor taste to bring along shrimp poppers to this show.
